Using primarily color media, students will learn about the elements of color art such as: hue, intensity, and color schemes, as well as principles of design such as: balance in color, rhythm, space, viewpoint and emphasis. Looking at art from around the world and throughout history for inspiration, students will apply what they learn to their own art. France, Japan, Mexico, and the Middle East are some of the places whose art we will study.

AGES: 9-14
DATES: January 17-April 3 (12 week course)

Designed to meet the needs of Charlotte, Halifax, Mecklenberg and Pittsylvania Counties and the City of Danville, the Workforce Forward 2011 Forum's speakers will present data and foster dialog leading to deliverables that help move the region forward.

The Honorable Mary Rae Carter, Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade for Rural Economic Development will present the keynote address. Chris Chmura, of Chmura Economics and Analytics, will explain trends and projections from her research report on education, employment and economic development in Southern Virginia.

Jesse Graham
Jesse Graham holds an MFA in Acting from Ohio University. This fall, Jesse is making the big move to NYC! Her roles include Ma Joad in The Grapes of Wrath, and Rosaline in Loveʼs Labourʼs Lost. She would like to thank Mom, Bud and Dad for their unshakable love.

Tia Reed
Tia L. Reed
is a native of Charlotte, N.C., and has received her BFA in Acting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been seen in Angels in America Part One: Millennium Approaches and most recently The Seagull. Tia is excited to make her debut at The Prizery this summer.

Abigail Gatlin
Abigail Gatlin
of Cleveland, Tenn., has recently graduated from Birmingham Southern College. She received a BA degree in Music Theatre and a minor in Dance. She was an intern for Broadway Dance Center in the fall of 2006 and performed in New York City
for BDC's Musical Theater Project.

(Captain Hennessey, Oliver Warbucks) is thrilled to be a part of The Prizery's summer stock season! Robby has been a proud member of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance in Gainesville, Ga., for four years. Robby sends a huge thank-you to his grandmother, his dad and the rest of his fantastic family and friends.

Jamie Lowe
Originally from Flagler Beach, Fla., Jamie Lowe is way excited to be making his debut at The Prizery! He is heading into his senior year at Elon University in N.C., where he is pursuing a BFA in Music Theater. Professional credits include Cornelius in Hello, Dolly! at the Post Playhouse.

Sarah Jones
Sarah Jones is a native of Atlanta, Ga., and is currently pursuing a Musical Theatre degree at the University of Alabama. Some of Sarahʼs favorite previous productions include Urinetown (Hope Cladwell), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ethel Peas), Julius Caesar (Calpurnia), and Hair (Tribe).

Christopher Lewis

is from Carrollton, Ga., and is a rising senior Musical Theatre major at Shorter University in Rome, Ga. He has previously worked at Timberlake Playhouse performing in Beauty and the Beast and The Frog Prince. He would like to thank God, and most especially his amazing family and friends, for their love and support.

Tyler McKenzie
Tyler McKenzie
was born in Long Island, N.Y., and moved to Charlotte, N.C., in high school. He currently attends Western Carolina University for Musical Theatre & Dance. He trained at Sports & Fine Arts Center and Central Academy of Technology & Arts. Tyler enjoys choreographing for the Western Carolina
University Dance Team.

Elizabeth Telford
Elizabeth Telford is originally from Duluth, Ga., and is soon to be a senior musical theatre major at Shorter College in Rome, Ga. Last summer, she worked professionally at Stephen Foster Outdoor Drama in Bardstown, Ky., performing in Stephen Foster the Musical (Gussie Jordan). She is very excited to be a part of The Prizery's summer season!

is a rising senior BFA Musical Theatre/ Dance Major at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., from Chattanooga, Tenn. Her previous roles include Ivy in We Happy Few and featured ensemble in Blame It On The Movies. Casi is excited to be part of The Prizery season!

is glad to be making his Prizery debut this summer. He is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and has recently graduated from Coastal Carolina with a BA in Musical Theatre.
