Cast Announced for Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Christmas Pageant1Artistic Director Christopher Jones announces the cast for the holiday production, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, beginning Friday, December 8 at The Prizery. 

The cast will include: Brian Rush (Father,/Fireman); Lena Rush (Mother); Jadene DeJarnette (Beth Bradley); Aaron Hendricks (Charlie Bradley/shepherd); Ryan Crawford (Ralph Herdman/shepherd); Katherine White (Imogene Herdman); Lucas LaMonica (Leroy Herdman/shepherd); Carrington Thackston (Claude Herdman/shepherd); Josh Slagle (Ollie Herdman); Isabella LaMonica (Gladys Herdman); Molly Nunn (Alice Wendleken); Jennifer Nunn (Mrs. Armstrong); Nicole Hendricks (Mrs. Slocum); Kelly Crawford (Mrs. Clark); Lisa Burton (Mrs. Clausing); Lisa Slagle (Mrs. McCarthy); McKenna Rush (Maxine); Alex Burton (Elmer Hopkins/shepherd); Mason Rush (Hobie); Gabe Cash (David/shepherd); Josie Cash (Beverly/Angel Chorus); Dora Slagle (Shirley/Angel Chorus); Maggie Mae Burton (Juanita/Angel Chorus); McKayla Moxcey (Fire woman); Minjune Kim (Reverend Hopkins).

Kelly Crawford is stage manager for the production. 

The Herdmans are ready to wreak havoc! What happens when the "worst kids in the history of the world" find out about free food at Sunday School? Worse yet, what happens when they decide to audition for the annual Christmas pageant? This would be the worst pageant ever...if it even happens. This hilarious and heartfelt musical comedy, adapted from Barbara Robinson's classic story, will have your family laughing and crying as we celebratre the holidays. 

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER opens Friday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. with additional shows on December 9 (7:30 p.m.); 10 (3 p.m.); 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at The Prizery Box Office located at 700 Bruce Street, online at Prizery.com, or by calling 434.572.8339. Tickets may also be purchased at the Halifax County/South Boston Visitor Center located at 1180 Bill Tuck Highway or by calling 434.572.2543. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for students.
